Freebo, ooit bekend als bassist/tubaspeler bij onder meer Bonnie Raitt, werkt al een aantal jaren solo en maakte de cd’s The End Of The Beginning, Dog People en Before The Separation, waarin hij zich ontwikkelt als singer-songwriter.
De in Amerika bijna continu rondtrekkende en spelende Freebo is zeer actief op internet, omdat hij op radio of t.v. niet meer te horen of te zien is.
Sinds kort geeft hij fans de gelegenheid zijn live-concerten via de computer te horen én te zien. Dit schrijft hij in een e-mail:

Simply go to www.justin.tv/freebomusic click the “create an account” button, enter a user name and password (your choice), Email address and date of birth (not your choice), and you’re ready to go. Then click on “Follow” underneath the video box on the left.
When we go live, you’ll get an Email informing you of that fact, you can choose to watch the show, and you’ll be able to speak to anyone else watching the show in real time…a great way to reconnect to old friends, as well as meeting new ones and kindred spirits….all while you’re enjoying the music and watching the live feed.
Tonight will be at 8 PM EDT in Raleigh, NC with my special guest and old friend WILL McFARLANE, Bonnie Raitt bandmate for over 5 years and excellent guitarist. Tomorrow I’ll be solo acoustic from Aberdeen, NC at 7:30 PM EDT. And Friday night will be a special concert from Charlotte, NC at 8 PM EDT with my special guest JOE CRAVEN, and extraordinary musician with amazing improvisational abilities. We’ve never played together before, but I’m excited about the world of infinite possibilities…tune in and check it out.
